About Cate

Hello and Welcome!

You are likely here about divorce coaching, financial coaching, or about dyslexia intervention - and yes, I do all three.

While these may seem like wildly different situations, they broadly require the same skill set - strategic thinking, organization, and emotional support.

In my role as a coach, working with me gives you access to an unbiased thinking partner to talk through your situation and the options and decisions ahead of you.

I can help you organize everything from a list of questions to a new household budget. I can help you break down large projects into manageable tasks so you can stay on top of everything you need to get done with less stress.

Coaching provides a confidential environment to talk through and address emotions with a supportive listener who is on your side.

In my work with dyslexia, I offer assessments and screenings to check for dyslexia, and I also support parents who chose to work with their kids themselves with lesson plans and progress monitoring. Many parents of a child with dyslexia or another learning difference find it helpful to have a space for their own feelings, and I am here for that as well.

I am a long-term expat with 16 years living abroad so far, a Certified Divorce Coach (CDC), a neuroscience enthusiast (PGCert, The Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, King’s College London), a dyslexia assessor and interventionist (Associate Training, Orton-Gillingham Academy), and a psychologist-in-training (MS Psychology expected in 2026, Northumbria University).
