Services & Sessions
You are likely here because something in your life is really challenging at the moment.
Let’s figure it out together.
I have what can charitably be called an “eclectic” set of professional skills related to neurodivergence and divorce. In short, I work in areas where I needed help in my own journey and couldn’t easily find it - divorce and neurodivergence (dyslexia, autism, and ADHD).
I’m working toward dual certification in Psychology (MSc expected 2026, Northumbria University) and Counselling (PGDip expected 2027, College of Allied Educators). I’m a Certified Divorce Coach (CDC), hold a PGCert in The Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health (King’s College London), and completed Associate-level training for Dyslexia Intervention (Orton-Gillingham Academy).
My journey started with discovering both of my children are dyslexic. When I asked our pediatrician for referrals, I was given the names of occupational therapists with no actual training in dyslexia. Further, I was told the intervention would cost around $30K per year - for each child - and take up to three years. When I’d recovered from the shock, I began researching for a better option.
The better option was the Orton-Gillingham Approach, though this did involve getting up at 3:30 in the morning every week for nine months to attend class live over Zoom. I applied what I learned and successfully tutored my own children, and two years later, one is reading at grade level, and the other is well on his way. Along the way, both kids were able to work through their feelings about their learning difference and come to a place where both tutoring and reading are now enjoyable - a far cry from the avoidance and melt-downs that marked the early days. Working with them and seeing them blossom into readers has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Because of my experience in working with dyslexia, I’m currently pursuing Certified Clinical Services Provider Training for both ADHD and Autism Spectrum alongside coursework on neuro-affirming practices. Unfortunately, many of the practices currently taught to providers are not neuro-affirming. This includes the use of stress- and force-based strategies for ADHD, and “training” for autistic folks that promotes shame and masking. Research increasingly shows that these kinds of strategies can have serious negative long-term consequences. I am deeply committed to using only neuro-affirming techniques in my work. I strive to help clients develop self-esteem, agency, and awareness and use these qualities to address their challenges.
If you are getting divorced or are divorce-curious, you already know just how challenging this process can be - especially for expats, and even more so for women and trailing spouses. Divorce is different when you’re far from home. Dealing with a foreign legal system is confusing, and you probably don’t have family nearby to support you. Add to this the dynamics of the vulnerability of being on a dependent pass or having to start or change career, and you have a potent mix of intense stressors. Having someone on your side who can hear you out and help you work through your thoughts to create an action plan with small, manageable steps can radically reduce your overwhelm. There is hope. You’re going to get through this.

Support for Parent-led Dyslexia Intervention
$200 per month
Research indicates that the most effective intervention for dyslexia includes three session of Orton-Gillingham instruction per week.
This is an impossible financial and logistical burden for most families, but what is the alternative? The thought of doing tutoring themselves feels overwhelming to many parents, or parents worry that they’re not qualified.
This offering takes the stress and anxiety out of the process by supporting parent tutors with weekly Orton-Gillingham lesson plans customized for your child, weekly video conference check-ins, and monthly informal assessments - all for less than the cost of a single session at a dedicated clinic.
